Society for the Blind is a private 501©(3) non-profit agency. As such, we rely heavily on private contributions to provide services to more than 3,000 blind and visually impaired youth, adults and seniors throughout the region. Ongoing support allows us to hire expert instructors and to purchase the latest technology to help blind individuals learn skills, confidence and independence.

We accept online donations through JustGive.org, a nonprofit agency that processes online donations and distributes them to us. We receive 97% of the donated amount. Just 3% of your total donation is deducted to pay for the fees associated with any credit card transaction - the same amount we would pay if we processed your credit card at our agency.
